GEMS International School Cairo (GISC) is seeking to appoint a Secondary College and Career Counsellor for September 2023.

The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to support students to develop academic plans that match their skills and strengths and engage with teaching staff to facilitate intervention programmes and communicate with a range of personnel to ensure best student career outcomes.

The candidate will have knowledge of IB programmes and a working background in the English Language.

The appointee will have:

• A current  teaching license/certification in their home country with a minimum of 3 years full-time teaching experience
• Associated degree
• Teaching certificate
• PYP/MYP training is preferred
• IBPYP/MYP experience is preferred

The school follows the American Curriculum and IB PYP, IB MYP and IB DP programmes.
