The International school of Ticino is seeking to appoint a Science Teacher with DP Chemistry for September 2024. For the right candidate there is the possibility of becoming the Head of Science.

Candidates should be well qualified and experienced in the teaching of science, with experience of teaching DP Chemistry a requirement. The successful candidate should also be committed to high standards, interested in using innovative and inquiry-based approaches to learning and be enthusiastic about promoting international understanding.

The contract is a permanent contract and our location offers the opportunity to live on Lake Lugano in Switzerland or Lake Como in Italy. 

Qualifications:

• University degree in appropriate subject
• PGCE and QTS or equivalent teacher qualification
• Excellent subject knowledge, ensuring good progress for all students across 11-18 age
• Recent, relevant, IB experience across 11-18 age group
• An EU passport holder or valid visa to work in Switzerland
