GEMS International School Cairo is seeking to appoint a Middle School English Teacher for September 2024.

GEMS International School Cairo, recently opened with students from Early Years through to Grade 8 in 2022-23 and will add upper grades in subsequent years, is an aspiring IB school using the American curriculum based AERO standards.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified graduate with experience of American and/or IB programmes. 

The appointee will have:

• A current  teaching/working license/certification in their home country 
• Associated degree
• A minimum of 3 years full-time librarian experience
• IB/ American experience is preferred

The school follows the American Curriculum and IB PYP, IB MYP and IB DP programmes.
