The International school of Ticino is seeking to appoint a Deputy Principal (Biology Teacher) to join us at the end of August 2024.
The successful candidate will have leadership experience to collaborate with the Principal on all aspects of daily life and act as a role model for the school’s vision, mission and IB learner profile.
The candidate will be committed to high standards, interested in using innovative and inquiry-based approaches to learning and be enthusiastic about promoting international understanding.
The contract is a permanent contract and our location offers the opportunity to live on Lake Lugano in Switzerland or Lake Como in Italy.
Qualifications:
- University degree in appropriate subject
- PGCE and QTS or equivalent teacher qualification
- Excellent subject knowledge, ensuring good progress for all students across 11-18 age
- Recent, relevant, IB experience across 11-18 age group
- An EU passport holder or valid visa to work in Switzerland
