The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, ability, experience and ability to make the subject come alive with inspirational and interactive lessons which challenge and support all pupils to secure the best possible outcomes. 
Secondary students study IGCSE up to Year 10 and in the final phase of high school the IB programme is studied in Y11 and 12.

Economics Teacher

The British School of Bahrain is seeking to appoint an outstanding, committed and energetic Economics Teacher for August 2024.

The successful candidate will have experience in delivering Economics at A Level, with an obvious passion for their subject.
The school curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales, and offers IGCSE and A-Level/BTEC examinations. 

Experience or interest in onscreen assessment would be an advantage. He/she will ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet the varying learning and social needs of the children in accordance with the school requirements; and ensure that all subjects to be taught provide coverage, progression and continuity.
