The British School of Bahrain is seeking to appoint an outstanding, committed and energetic Teacher of Secondary English (up to A Level) to join as a maternity cover for 1 year starting in August 2024.

The successful candidate will have experience in delivering English language and literature at GCSE level and English Literature at A Level, with an obvious passion for their subject.
The school curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales, and offers IGCSE and A-Level/BTEC examinations. 

Experience or interest in onscreen assessment would be an advantage. He/she will ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet the varying learning and social needs of the children in accordance with the school requirements; and ensure that all subjects to be taught provide coverage, progression and continuity.

IBDP English Teacher

King's College Panama is seeking to appoint an IBDP English Teacher for August 2024 

The successful candidate will be qualified with BA degree and PGCE/QTS teacher qualification. The position teaching through to Year 13 with IGCSE Cambridge and IBDP to Higher level as the ideal.

The school follows the British National Curriculum to IGCSE and A-level standards.

King’s College offers a British curriculum taught by a full British trained teaching team. As well as a full range of National Curriculum subjects, pupils from Year 1 also study Spanish Language, with the addition of Panamanian studies from Year 7 until Year 11.
In Primary, the school follows a creative curriculum and students are individually tracked and targets set to enhance learning.
